Southern College and Professional degree. Flight Training was
done through Flight Safety in Vero Beach.

... on HIMSELF
Strengths: "Determined (goal oriented), considerate,
down- to- earth, love life, stick to my morals and beliefs and treasure
God, family and my country."
Weakness: "Pizza ;-)"
Others may not see: "My quirky side. I can be kind of off
the wall and take people by surprise generally when they're
not expecting it. I'm a little more animated and out there
than people kind of expect from people in my profession. They
just assume that I'm a certain way. I'm more reserved,
definitely an introvert. I definitely sit back and take in my
surroundings. I like observing and watching people. I'm
usually not the one who's going to go in and have everyone
congregate around and be the life of the party. People
generally think that I'm going to be outgoing or at the very
least, more of a playboy. But I'm not wired that way.
Generally when people find out that I'm a pilot, especially
women, they just kind of avoid me if they're looking for a
relationship because they don't see me as very safe."
I've been known to ... "just kind of take off. Sometimes
I'll head down to the Keys or to Vero Beach. My friends
sometimes will call me and wonder where I've been for the last
five days. They're used to it now and they're done calling off
the search parties. With a relationship, it would be totally
different. I would definitely keep her informed of what I was
doing, and hopefully she can come along."
Interests: "Flying, surfing, acting, weight training,
anything active outdoors, movies and reading a good mystery
novel to name a few ..."
Turn ons: "Challenges, challenges, challenges. I love
being challenged constantly. Even with flying commercially, it
gets a little bit old and boring. Because you take off, you
land, and it's 99% boredom followed by 1& per adrenaline.
I get bored very quickly. I like to accomplish things and move
on to the next thing. I would say if there's one thing in life
that drives me it's constantly looking for a new
challenge."
Turn offs: "Smoking; people who are very agenda
driven, as far as using others to further their agenda,
through a back door some way, that really rubs me wrong."
Special Talents: "Flying, surfing and acting."
Titles: "Captain (for 3 years). I'm in charge of the
plane as scary as that sounds."
Charities: "I give faithfully to my church. I hosted an
event for a variety charity, a children's charity."
Travels: "All over the country every week ;-)"
Spirituality: "Religion is a huge part of my life. When
I'm not working, I attend church."
Fashion sense: "Generally I prefer shorts. That's why I
live in Florida. If we're going downtown somewhere or NY, I'll
get dressed up a little bit, the GQ look. But if I could walk
around in shorts all the time and that would be socially
acceptable, I'd be all for it."
Staying healthy: "Disciplined with diet and workouts. I
try and plan my meals for each day and my workouts for the
week. My schedule changes often so I have to constantly find
time to eat right and exercise ... but I do find time!"
What touches my soul: "Music ... the type just depends on
the mood I'm in. Most of all, my faith in God."
... on WOMEN
I first notice ... "her eyes. I feel you can tell a lot
about how sincere and genuine a woman is just by their
eyes."
Attention-getters: "Just by being herself. Someone who's
just out having a good time, with no agenda, no preconceived
notions, but just generally enjoying a good time. And
someone's having a conversation with me, not to pick me up,
but we get past that awkwardness and we're just having a
conversation, like two friends would have a conversation. That
very much stands out and turns me on. Someone who's
comfortable enough to get past all the BS and just have a real
conversation where it's not driven by `I wonder if this is the
guy I could possibly start dating.' I firmly believe you got
to be friends before you can start dating."
Ideal woman: "I really don't have a type, I'm more turned
on to a person's character and personality. I know that sounds
like the coined answer to say, but truly I am. I'm definitely
more attracted to a person and to the character than I am to
their appearance. she's got to be independent and spiritual.
Spiritual being number one."
Most important quality in a woman: "It comes down to the
whole reason why I enjoy genuine, real conversation and that's
what really would stand out. I think trust and honesty are a
firm basis for a relationship. If you don't have that, then
what's the point?"
Ideal date: "Nothing too extravagant ... maybe a picnic
on the beach as the sun is going down."
I'd call a woman back after a first date ... "if there
was a feeling like a connection was made."
I would never date a woman who ... "smokes."
How I show I care: "By listening even when I really,
really, really would rather just go to bed. Staying up and
listening to her talk for hours on end because I know she
needs me to hear it. And just telling them that I care."
What makes a woman unforgettable: "I think that is
something that is unique to each and every woman. I'm not sure
I could put it to words ..."
I wish women understood ... "that we are all different in
so many ways. I can't stand the phrase `All men are ..."
Most of the time when I hear that I find myself thinking `I'm
not at all like that!'"
One thing a woman has never done for me: "Send me
flowers! Ha! I think that would be hysterical and show a great
sense of humor ;-)"
... on RELATIONSHIPS
On marriage: "I won't be a statistic. I believe
marriage is the most sacred thing on Earth. I won't enter it
until I know it's right. That may be in a year from now or 10
years from now. I have had long term relationships. I like the
camaraderie. I like being able to have somebody who I can
confide in, trust in."
Top relationship keys: "Honesty, similar core beliefs,
values and communication."
A woman in a relationship with me can expect ... "a
very loyal boyfriend. I've never cheated on any girlfriend.
She can also expect the unexpected because I never know what's
going to happen in my life from one day to the next. So they
would have to be flexible. I would prefer someone who lives
their life the same way, who doesn't have everything mapped
out perfectly."
What I expect: "Just honesty, loyalty and love. I would
expect her to love me back otherwise why would she be in
it."
When I'm in love, I ... "tend to see everything with a
little more beauty ... the way I believe God intended ;-)
Being in love is a reminder of what's truly important in this
life."
What makes me feel close to a woman: "Sharing intimate
secrets that few others may know. Having the little things
that make you laugh that no one else understands."
Greatest relationship lesson: "Not to always trust your
heart. There is a time in all relationships, usually in the
first few months, when everything's great and neither of you
can do wrong. It's that time when your heart says ... `This is
the one.' I've learned that may not always be the case and it
usually takes time to see the real person your dating. New: I
think your heart lies to you quite a bit. Often times
listening to your heart, your heart will tell you one thing
when the reality is something else. The reality is there's
more to it than just following your heart, because if you
always followed your heart every single time, I think you'd
get in a lot of trouble and I think a lot of people do. The
way I honestly judge it is if I feel like God is bringing this
person into my life, and that's just a personal relationship I
have with God."
What makes a woman marriage material: "It would be a
feeling, it would be something I would very much be in prayer
about prior to, and I think it would have to be God leading me
that way, and I think it would also be about timing, about
where we both were in our lives. I firmly believe in pre
marital counseling and working out issues prior to them
becoming issues."
... on SEX
I feel my sexiest when ... "I know that the girl I'm with
is feeling sexy with me."
Most sensual part of a woman's body: "I think that's
specific to the woman."
Sexiest thing a woman can wear in private: "An old T-shirt
and gym shorts ;-)"
Surefire way to seduce me: "Now if I gave that away, what
fun would that be?"
... on LIFE
Making my mark: "By trying to live my life with as little
regret as possible. To do this I must stay close to my beliefs
and values and live with integrity and a conscience."
Responsibility to society: "I have two nephews and one
niece and they're just getting old enough to where I can be
influential in their life. I firmly believe that the kids,
especially this generation, are going to completely transform
the world and the way it's going to go here in the next couple
decades. I think we are in a time that we've never been in
before, with technology and everything else. The world is
becoming so small. Depending on where this generation stands,
this is where the world's going to go. So I firmly think that
these kids need to have a positive influence on them at a very
young age."
Valuable life lesson: "Don't be afraid to seek advice,
daily, from those you respect and admire."
I must ... "sky dive, get married and travel the world
(and not just the airports of the world ;-)"
Best advice received: "My father once told me, `always
live your life with integrity, everything else will come and
go, but how you live will always follow you.'"
Best advice I've given a woman: "Just to be
herself."
... on HIS FAVORITE THINGS
Movie: "Hero, it's a kung fu movie but an incredible
story."
TV Show: "Seinfeld."
Book: "Anything by C.S. Lewis ... the man was a
genius!"
Music: "Depends on my mood ... anything from U2 to Frank
Sinatra."
Food: "Pizza!"
... final THOUGHTS
Wheels: " I love speed in the air and I enjoy speed on
the ground too, but given my druthers, I'd rather be off
road."
Always in my refrigerator: "Water, mustard, lunch
meat, bread."
Hottest possession: "A little airplane made out of paper
that my little nephew made me. He calls me Uncle Aaron-plane.
He made me this little plane that I just love. I do cherish
that."
I'd change places for 24 hours with ... "any astronaut. I
would love the opportunity to travel into space."
I would most like to hang out with ... "C.S. Lewis, if he
were still alive ... as I said, I believe he was a
genius."
Celeb I'd love to take on a date: "Not so much on a date,
but I would love to talk with Meryl Streep. She seems to keep
such a level head even with all her success. I have a ton of
respect for her."
Why I'm a great catch: I try to live my life with as much
integrity as I can. And with that comes honesty and loyalty,
and I think that's a rare commodity nowadays."
Me in a word: "Honest."
