...  on HERSELF

Strengths:  "Honest, funny, intelligent, nurturing, confident, passionate, loyal."

Weakness: "Procrastination, having too many things going at once."

Others may not see: "I am extremely complex. There are so many sides of my personality. You may find me out doing the Hollywood scene, or spending hours researching new technology, or working on a new art project. I may be joking around acting like a total  goofball or immersed in deep intellectual debates with like minded friends. Just depends."

I've been known to ... "be the life of the party."

Interests: "I am interested in many things creative. I am an artist when time permits. I also enjoy fine dining and great wine and keep a small collection of my various favorite vintage varietals. I am a bit of a gadget geek and enjoy technology. I also like surfing and love animals."

Turn ons: "Vintage wine, quality cheese, thunderstorms, fine dining, traveling, surfing, art, interesting quotes and metaphors, candlelit baths, animals, nature, romance, laughing."

Turn offs: "Superficiality, dishonesty, materialism, arrogance, opportunists, political posturing, fanatics, rudeness, stupidity."

Special Talents: "Cooking, drawing/painting, design, writing, singing, graphic art, photography, most things `creative.'"

Charities: "ASPCA, Habitat for Humanity, Global Green, Sierra Club."

Travels: "Puerto Rico, St. Barths, Virgin Gorda, Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Bangkok, Paris, Madrid, Barbados, Cancun, Stockholm, Toronto, all over the US including living in Baton Rouge, Houston, Dallas, San Francisco, and NYC."

Spirituality: "Spiritual but not religious. I feel religion has been the root of almost every major controversy in history and I am not much of a conformist."

Staying healthy: "Cardio/elliptical, boxing, surfing."

What touches my soul: "People doing meaningful things to better this world."

... on MEN

Attention-getters: "Be polite, funny, nice and honest."

Ideal man: "Looks wise, I generally prefer tall handsome athletic men. If a man is great looking ... that will get my attention but won't necessarily keep it. I like intelligent men who are confident yet humble. I like a man who will have me laughing out loud, who is affectionate, understanding, honest, romantic, sincere, passionate, loyal, driven, and stable."

I can't resist a man who ... "does the little things to let you know he cares and appreciates the little things in return."

Most important quality in a man: "Honesty. If there is no trust in a relationship ... it is doomed from the get go. Most other aspects of successful relationships (friends or lovers) including bonding are dependent on the level of trust. Habitual lying shows a lack of respect for others and is inherently cowardice."

Ideal date: "Definitely a great dinner with wine. Movies are great but not a good thing to do when you are trying to get to know someone. Going to a piano lounge and talking by a fireplace or even throwing a blanket down by the ocean after dark are nice ideas only if there is some mutual chemistry."

What makes me want to see a man again after a first date: "I like a man that is well mannered and polite. I do not like the bad boy thing or arrogance. I also like conversations to flow smoothly and of course to be able to have an intelligent conversation with a man or a completely senseless one. I would hope he makes me laugh and intrigues me enough to wish to see him again. I don't like "players" and I don't do the notch on the belt thing. I like the nice guy and of course there must be mutual chemistry. I have to be attracted to a man mentally, emotionally, and physically."

I'd never date a man who ... "is not self-sufficient, hunts, lies, cheats, is mean spirited, self-centered, unstable, doesn't take care of himself, is a "player", has any self destructing addictions, has any EXTREME political/religious views (i.e.: scientologists, evangelists) or is down right stupid."

How I show I care: "Doing the little things like kissing his forehead sometimes instead of his lips or leaving him notes in unexpected places or giving him a nice massage after a hard days work. There are so many ways to show you care. It doesn't have to be monetary."

What makes a man unforgettable: "Amazing eyes, a really fabulous smile, a passionate kisser, and usually a memorable masculine scent."

I wish men understood ... "they don't always need to agree ... but they do need to learn to empathize. Sometimes it's not about right or wrong ... it's about understanding each other and communicating effectively. generally speaking ... guys need to be more emotionally involved and girls need to be less."

One thing a man has never done for me yet, but I would love it: "Take an extended trip w/me to travel to some destinations I want to visit in the world."

... on RELATIONSHIPS

Top relationship keys: "I discussed this in a couple places already."

A man in a relationship with me can expect ... "romance, nurturing, laughs, some head butting at times, good conversation, great meals, loyalty."

What I expect: "Obviously if it's a relationship, I expect them to be honest, loyal, trustworthy and considerate. Reliability is a must as well. If a guy says he's going to do something, he should do it. I expect there to be balance whether it be in communication or showing of affection. Relationships are give and take. If there is no balance ... it leads to resentment and discontent."

Greatest relationship lesson: "Communication, you absolutely have to communicate, you can't keep things bottled up. Many times couples bicker to everyone about their relationship issues but do little to communicate to find resolve. As Einstein stated, insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. If something is flawed, fix it or take a break until you figure out what is causing the issue. Don't bitch, cheat, and lie. If you don't have respect for your partner, have some for yourself."

... on Life:

Valuable life lesson: "There are so many true adversities I have experienced that the little things should be of little concern. Save the worrying and pre-mature aging for truly significant issues."

I must ... "travel to places I am dying to visit including getting to know my home country on a more personal level. Learn new things (special effects makeup artistry, learn languages, the piano, etc). Find the one, raise some awesome kids, grow into granny gracefully."

... on HER FAVORITE THINGS

Movie: "I like thrillers and comedies. Some favorites are Usual Suspects, Count of Monte Cristo, Will Ferrell films, Dumb and Dumber, Martial arts films like House of Flying Daggers, Hero, Gladiator, so many more. I love watching movies."

TV: "I watch a lot of Discovery Channel and History Channel. I like shows that educate me on stuff like Cash Cab, Man Vs Wild, Modern Marvels, Myth Busters, How It's Made. I also love Top Chef, Iron Chef, and Food Network Challenge. I admit I like reality TV but only the competition shows that are more creative/strategic like Top Design, Top Chef, Project Runway, Survivor, etc. I don't care for trash reality TV."

Music: "As diverse as I am. Depends on my mood. Could be Billy Holiday one minute or a Fedde Le Grand house mix the next. I listen to Opera, Country, Hip Hop, almost anything."

Food: "I love spicy food (hello, I am half Thai and grew up in Louisiana). Some favorites are Thai, Korean, Vietnamese, Indian, Japanese (SUSHI!!). Some weaknesses I have are fried chicken, buffalo wings, Blue Saga or Cambozola on toasted sourdough."

... final THOUGHTS:

Pets: "My brilliant cat, Vino. He's a stray I adopted 11 years ago when he was just 6 weeks. He actually decides what guys he does and doesn't like. Kinda funny because he has been pretty accurate on which one's were a waste of time...lol."

Tattoos/piercings: "4 tats ... only one that is very visible ... pierced ears and navel. One is a barbed wire around my right arm.  I have a Thai symbol on the back of my neck that stands for peace. I have a heart with an arrow going through it on my right ankle. I have a little butterfly by my bikini line. They all symbolize something."

Always in my refrigerator: "Master cleanse (tastes good), eggs, organic unsweetened soy for my protein shakes, water, usually something for my salt cravings like prosciutto, habenero sauce, crunchy and cold like Persian cumbers or celery."

Hottest possession: "Well most valued possession ... my woobie (security blanket I have had for 19 years ... been all over the world with me."

Celeb I'd love to go on a date with: "Edward Norton. I have a weakness for smart guys, like absurdly smart. Edward Norton is  really intelligent and an amazing actor and writer. There's this geeky brilliance about him, but I still find him sexy. Other celebs I find sexy are Paul Walker (I love tall guys and he is tall, gorgeous, and down to earth), Jason Statham, Chris Evans, and Daniel Craig to name a few."

Why I'm such a great catch: "Because I make people laugh. I am honest, loyal, fun, nurturing, caring, intelligent, passionate, adventurous and loving."

Me in a word: "Unique."
