"I want to find someone who can relate to me on all levels," says 29-year-old Donna, who recently won the Fashion Award at the 2005 Miss Hawaiian Tropic semifinals. "He has to be funny, intelligent, adventurous and thoughtful." Born and raised in Pennsylvania, this 5'7" co-owner of an internet sales business, describes herself as "personable, dependable and always up for new adventures and experiences." What makes this brown-eyed Gemini (who was also crowned Miss Pennsylvania-United
States in 2002 and won the 2003 Miss Hawaiian Tropic Fitness Award) such a great catch? "I'm fun! I refuse to let things get boring," says Donna. "Plus, when I'm in an exclusive relationship, I'm very loyal."

motivated when I want to be."

neat-freak as well."
Others may not see: "Some people don't realize that there is a tomboyish side to me. For example, when people see me pull up in my clean, shiny car, they assume that someone else washed it for me. What they don't realize is that I spent over 2 hours washing, buffing, and waxing it to get it to look that way. It's funny to see the look on men's faces once I tell them that I cleaned under the hood and scrubbed the wheels with a toothbrush."

hang gliding off of a 10,000 ft. volcano in Hawaii)."

Charities: "My business contributes to the "Make-A-Wish" Foundation of Northeastern Pennsylvania (for terminally ill children). Every year, the foundation holds a black-tie function called the "Crystal Ball", which honors a particular child. We've been involved in this event for the past 4 years."

bit of cardio)."
What touches my soul: "When I see someone who sets out to do something, and achieves it through determination and hard work (especially when other people told them it couldn't be done)."
... on MEN
A man can get my attention ... '"initially, through eye contact...but if he wants to maintain my attention, he needs to show a genuine interest in me and what I'm saying."
Ideal man: "I want to find someone who can relate to me on all levels. He has to be funny, intelligent. adventurous, and thoughtful. I would prefer him to be strong, physically attractive, and have a willingness to travel."
I can't resist a man who ... "is a good cook and can give a good massage."
I show a man I care ... "by doing things for him that I wouldn't do for just anyone. (i.e., if his shoulders hurt I'd give him a backrub, if he liked a certain musician, I'd buy him the CD) It always means more if it is done out of the blue, when he least expects it."
Most important quality in a man: "Honesty ... I hate liars!"
Ideal date: "Since I love the beach, it would probably be on a tropical island somewhere. We would probably have dinner, go out dancing, grab a bottle of champagne and walk along the beach at sunset, and maybe later on go for a swim in the moonlight ..."
What makes a man unforgettable: "When we go out somewhere in public or when we are hanging out with his friends, and he pays no attention to the other people and acts like we are the only two people there."
I wish men understood ... "when we tell you that we don't want you to make a big fuss about our birthday, anniversary, Valentine's Day, etc., ...we're secretly hoping you will! : ) (we're just being humble about it)."
... on
RELATIONSHIPS
On marriage: "Marriage is very important and shouldn't be entered into lightly. Many people get married for the wrong reasons: either they want to get married by a certain age, they see all of their friends doing it, or they're in a rush to have kids. Most of these marriages end in divorce. Personally, I'm in no rush. I would rather be single and happy, than married and unhappy. I just want to find a person who shares many of the same interests as myself and wants to spend time with me, regardless of whether we get married or have kids. For example, if I weren't able to have children, I want the man I marry to say, `That's fine with me Donna, I'm happy just as long as we're together.' That's my idea of a great relationship."
Top relationship keys: "Always allow the other person to maintain their individuality, just because you're a couple doesn't mean you have to merge lifestyles and personalities. Also, you do not have to spend every waking moment together. By spending some time apart, it allows you to miss the other person. It's like they say, `absence makes the heart grow fonder.'"
A man in a relationship with me can expect ... "to have a lot of fun! I try not to let the relationship get stale, by suggesting new places to go, or new things to do."
What I expect: "The same in return."
When I'm in love, I ...."find myself thinking about him and nobody else."
Greatest relationship lesson: "Not to let anyone
take you for granted."
... on SEX
I feel my sexiest when ... "I'm in high heels, a sexy outfit and I know
I look good."
What puts me in the mood: "Sexy music, a good backrub, dancing together."
... on her FAVORITE THINGS
Movie: "Goodfellas, Swingers, Caddyshack."
TV Show: "The O.C., Entourage, Nip/Tuck."
Book: "Underboss by Peter Maas."
Music: "I enjoy all kinds of music. In my car right now are: Yellowcard, Blink 182, Usher,
Nelly."
Food: "French Fries."
Season: "Summer."
... on LIFE
Making my mark: "I feel that I'm doing that in some form every day. I hope that I affect people in some way, just by being a part of their lives."
Responsibility to Society: "Simple. Treat others with the same respect and courtesy that you would want them to treat you with."
Valuable life lesson: "Seize the day! Take advantage of as many opportunities that come along ... they may not come your way again."
What I try to get out of life every day: "New experiences and new friends."
Three things I must do in this lifetime: "1. Learn to surf. 2. Travel the world. 3. Own a home in Hawaii."
Best advice I've received: "Enjoy your youth! There are too many things you won't be able to do once you get older. (My grandmother tells me this all the time)."
Best advice I've given a man: "Don't chase after girls who constantly play hard to get. In most cases they're either not interested or they'll end up taking advantage of you and treating you poorly."
... final THOUGHTS
Nicknames: "D," "Shepherd,"
"Sunshine."
Wheels: "Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited Edition."
Always in my refrigerator: "Fruit, pizza, ice cream."
Hottest possession: "My Victoria's Secret credit card!"
Me, a deserted island and ... "a hot guy who wants nothing more than to be
there with me! (preferably he will have all of the qualities I listed
above)."
Secret fantasy: "To be a rock star."
I would like to change places for 24 hours with ... "Victoria's Secret model-Marissa Miller...she's gorgeous...and she surfs!"
I would most like to hang out with ... "actually, I would have to say the whole TI2 gang. Since most of us live all over the country, it's hard to get together on a regular basis. I really made some great friends during that experience, and I wish we lived closer. We had such a great time in Costa Rica, and I miss hanging out with them."
Why I'm such a great catch: "I'm fun! I refuse to let things get
boring. Plus, I'm very loyal when I'm in an exclusive relationship."
What I'm looking for by being profiled: "To meet new people who share the same interests as myself."
Me in a word: "Silly."
