... the FACTS
Born: Maryland
Resides: Dahlonega
Birthdate: 12-27-87
Sign: Capricorn
Height: 5'8"
Hair: Blonde
Eyes: Blue
Ethnicity:
American
(altho my background is Irish, German, and English).
Family: 6 siblings, love 'em all, and two parents.
Status: Never married, no children
Want children: "I am undecided right now, but the right person could
persuade me."
Ever Engaged: Yes, once
Nonsmoker. "I really don't like the smell, it messes with my lungs and
I am very athletic so it's hard being around something like that."
Education:
Attending
college
Occupation: "I hope to be a physical therapist, fitness and
injuries have always been an interest of mine.
... on HERSELF
Best qualities: "I'm always there for people who need me, no matter if
we have had a discrepancy in the past or not, you never know when you might
need a helping hand from someone and life is too short too hold grudges and
get too mad to cut yourself away from people. I can be very understanding,
within reason, we're all human and we all make mistakes, I am no exception
to that. Not a lot phases me when it comes to things being too
"gross" or things like that, I plan on being a doctor, or
something of the sort so I try not to let a lot get to me."
Strengths: "Well, I have physical strength for one, but beyond that, I
am good at being romantic and loyal to my guy, even if there's distance,
it's not worth a broken heart and betrayed trust to hurt someone like that.
I am good at cooking desserts, lol, real food is what I have a problem
conquering. I am good at being flexible or establishing a routine, whatever
ends up working at the time. I'm good at being there when someone needs me,
everybody needs somebody sometimes. I like to think I can make some sort of
impact."
Weakness: "I hate losing animals, that's always a soft spot for me. I
have a total weakness for sweet guys who are there for me, I love it when a
guy might surprise me by coming to me when I had a bad day. I have a huge
weakness for country music, not a lot of people I know like it, but, it's
got some element to it that makes you want to listen."
Others may not see: "I am strong and can be relatively unsensitive at
first glance, but, it's just a shell I have sometimes, I have loved and
lost, but that's made me a better person. I am a little bit of everything,
there are days when I am pretty and dressed up, but I have days when you
can't force me out of my athletic gear and into my makeup; It's fun being
like that, I'm comfortable sitting around with no makeup, but, then I have
days when I want a man to say, `Wow, I'm lucky to be with her!'"
I've
been known to ... "wake
up ridiculously early if it means I can squeeze in a workout, bake chocolate
chip cookies from scratch once a week, be a little crazy and creative, but
mostly fun."
Interests: "Athletics definitely, but, more specifically, rock climbing
(outdoors), Whitewater rafting, soccer, swimming, physical fitness (weight
training, etc.), football, there's plenty more. History, I love to read
about injuries and how to fix them or alter something so they can be fixed,
horses and horseback riding, poetry, the mountains, being creative and
clever, debate."
Turn
ons: "I
can handle tattoos, and piercings as long as their within reason, sometimes
they are insanely hot to me, but sometimes you see it and you're like, why?
Romance, definitely, when a man makes me feel like I'm the most important
thing in the world to him (not all the time, mind you, but, just as a
special-every-once-in-a-while thing). I love it, the pursuit of being
physically fit, or at least trying to workout, being nice to my siblings,
just being there when I need someone."
Turn offs: "Men who think they're God's gift to women, guys who try to
look perfect, guys who weigh less than I do, when a guy is on his cell phone
the whole date, it makes me think he's way more interested in something
else, guys who talk only about themselves, guys who become `whipped.' I love
when a man can think for himself, smoking, dipping, drugs , drinking too
much, being rude and too critical."
Special Talents: "I participate in beauty pageants when I can. I love
riding horses, I was once a very active competitor. I can play rugby. I know
a little bit of web code (web design stuff). I can speak a little
Spanish."
Titles:
"Miss
Congeniality, Honor Roll, Goalkeeper of the Year, Most likely to skydive
onto the field during the super bowl."
Charities:
"I
am a foxtrot sweetheart (I am still in college) and what I do is I bring
little goodies and snacks to the guys and girls that are part of the
forxtrot company. I help out at Bowen Homes when I can, that is a rough
area, but, it really puts things in perspective. Whatever else I can find
time for, I like volunteering my time."
Travels:
"Been
to several national parks, climbed with Yosemite mountaineering school, seen
old faithful, saw the largest tree in the world, rode the alpine slide in
Jackson Hole, saw the original Bass Pro in Missouri, petted Cigar in
Kentucky (famous racehorse), been to the Louvre, dined at the Eiffel Tower,
snorkeled in the Caribbean, also, France, England, Belize, Costa Rica, and
Panama."
Spirituality:
"I
am Baptist and actually like going to church. I wouldn't mind finding a guy
who is a different religion and doesn't mind gong to church."
Fashion
sense: "Umm,
I'm not always a present mind when it comes to stuff like this. I really
like staying comfortable, in example, jeans and a T-shirt or in my athletic
gear since I love working out a lot but at least twice a week I'll get all
dressed up and nice looking. I like for a guy or the people I'm with to be
happy they're with me, to sum it up, I'm not the most fashion forward, but,
I can stay in style."
How
I stay healthy: "I
workout 6 days a week and I do not drive until after my Friday afternoon
class, so I'll walk everywhere I go during the week. I also lift weights
(but I do quite a few alternative routines) and I do core work as well. I
like to play sports too, in addition to working out. I love physical
fitness, my friends don't have to like it like I do, but I appreciate having
support."
What touches my soul: "Something really sweet or romantic, but also the
little things, such as a man who always opens the door for a woman or doing
something super sweet for Valentine's Day. Also, I do go to a military
college, so soldier's who are not only physically but emotionally scarred
touch my soul. What ultimately touches my soul is someone who is kind no
matter what and does things for people with or without thanks and
recognition, that kind of loving generosity speaks volumes."
...
on MEN
Attention
getters:
"Oh, there are plenty of ways to get someone's attention, but if you
come up and say, `Hi,' I will most likely be polite to you. I am impressed
by a man working up the courage to walk up to me, say hi, and be genuinely
interested in me, because I know that's hard for guys to do, and for them to
work up the courage to do that speaks wonders."
Ideal man: "Let's see, one who lives, and breathes, and walks? Really,
I like a romantic guy. I like a guy who is either physically fit or making
an effort to be. If a man isn't religious, then at least going to church
with me would be nice. One who knows when to tell it to me like it is, and
when I need it sugarcoated a little bit, doesn't mind horses and riding
them, drinks a little, but not too much, respects the fact that I work and
need to study, does the little things that matter to me, protects me, makes
me feel cherished and treasured, is my partner and my equal, can give me a
hug when necessary, but isn't afraid to tackle me if we play touch football.
Honestly, the ideal man is one who really is himself around me. I want him
to be able to be him, especially when he's around me."
I
can't resist a man who ... "treats
me like his `princess,' but in his own way, for example, a guy may not be
great at being romantic, but, he always opens the door for me, or keeps in
mind my favorite drink or restaurant, or gives me a massage, this goes back
to him being him, he doesn't have to be extremely romantic, as long as there
are those little reminders to let me know that he is mine and I am
his."
Most
important quality in a man: "Loyalty,
nobody likes to get cheated on, it's a bad feeling to have it done to you or
to even do it yourself, it makes people feel pretty worthless."
Ideal date: "One where we would be able to get to know each other, so
probably a nice dinner out, where he chooses the restaurant."
What
makes me want to see a man again after a first date: "The
way he acts and handles things during the first date, especially if
something goes wrong, also, if he is kind and courteous, and, his
personality, I love finding those little details that drive you wild when
you figure out."
I
would never date a man who ... "smoked,
I'm sorry, but I just can't do it."
How
I show I care: "You
know you are definitely in when I make you cookies, or I do small favors
without being asked or I do something totally unexpected, but, well
appreciated, like cleaning or cooking."
What
makes a man unforgettable: "His
eyes, his smile, the way he treats me, and his personality. I'll remember
the way he looks at me, the way he smiles (assuming he does). I'll
definitely remember how he treats me and his personality, it's when those
little things get to you and just fascinate you about someone, that is
amazing."
I
wish men understood ... "we're
definitely not perfect and we make huge mistakes, who knows what they'll be
and when, but don't judge and be overly critical at the first hint that we
are indeed not totally perfect."
One
thing a man has never done for me yet, but I would love it: "Take
me horseback riding or take me on a weekend trip. I love riding horses, I
used to be heavily involved in competitive riding, but, now I just ride for
fun and it's something that is a lot of fun to learn. The weekend trip thing
wouldn't be something huge, but it would be nice to go a few states away and
just chill and relax."
...
on RELATIONSHIPS
On Relationships: "Relationships are great as long as they're with the
right person, some people are in relationships just to be in a
relationship, but I'm never in a relationship unless it's with someone I
could see myself with for a long time. Marriage would be great to
experience, but that is a big step, I'm just waiting for the right guy to
come along."
Top relationship keys: "Honesty, faithfulness , trust, loyalty, love,
unconditional love at that, the ability to think from the other person's
point of view, compromise, knowing when to pick your battles (you don't need
to start a fight when you just don't feel like taking out the trash, just do
it), knowing when to be serious and when to goof around, you don't have to
be serious all the time."
A
man who is in a relationship with me can expect ... "someone
who loves and cares deeply and is loyal to the end, but that isn't something
I would show until a little while into the relationship because there are
times when I'm scared that I'm with a good guy and if he thinks that if I
really care that much, then I might lose him."
What I Expect: "A man who cares for me, I know he's human, I wouldn't
cause a huge breakup fight over the first bump in the road, but I expect him
to be there and care for me and be loyal."
When
I'm in love, I ... "am
a very happy woman, nothing can mess with me if I'm in love, I want to be
with that person because just being around them makes me feel like that day
is better."
What
makes me feel close to a man: "When
we take a nap or sleep together and we wake up and he sees me with messed up
makeup and hair and tells me I'm beautiful anyways."
Greatest
relationship lesson: "You
can't get too mad, besides life is too short for that, when things don't go
your way, you've got to learn to go with it or let it slide, it's not worth
potentially damaging a relationship for."
What
makes a man marriage material: "When
he'll at least go to church, when he can tell me the truth, not just what I
want to hear, when he loves me unconditionally, he's able to compromise, he
can be funny, I don't like being 100% serious, we're best friends as well as
lovers, he's understanding, he's mentally and emotionally strong, he's the
man I could be with even through a black out in a snowstorm."
...
on SEX
I
feel my sexiest when ... "I
look really great to go somewhere and the guy I'm with is proud to show me
off and say I'm his girlfriend."
Sexiest
thing a man can wear in private: "Lingerie
for women, boxers or boxer briefs for guys or, nothing at all."
Surefire
way to seduce me: "Dinner
for just the two of us, flowers would be nice, maybe some wine, curling up
in front of a movie that we say we'll watch, then start kissing my neck or
back or ears, that is something that will be hard to resist."
...
on LIFE
Making my mark: "Being
the best person I can be with the time God has given me."
Responsibility to Society: "Being there for other people, I'm the
person my friends call if something goes wrong or they've had a bad day or
they need someone to talk to, I like touching lives through that."
Valuable life lesson: "Love hurts, and that's the cold hard truth, it's
never going to be 100% perfect, but that's why you love unconditionally, and
if it doesn't work out, then you're better off with the experience."
What I Try to get out Of Everyday: "I start each and every day as if it
were on purpose and I try to live each day like it could be my last."
I must ... "exercise, go snowboarding in the Swiss Alps, climb El
Capitan and sleep in one of those sleeping bags that hangs off the edge of
the cliff."
Best Advice Received: "Give it your best, it's okay if you don't
succeed at something, but you better give it everything you've got before
you give up."
Best advice I've given: "Never lie, cheat, steal or drink; but if you
must lie, lie in the arms of the one you love; if you must cheat, cheat
death; if you must steal, steal away from bad company, and if you must
drink, drink in the moments that take your breath away."
... on HER FAVORITE THINGS
TV Show: "24, Nip/Tuck."
Food: "Buffalo burgers."
Season: "Winter."
...
final THOUGHTS
Wheels: "Jeep."
Tattoos/piercings: "Three piercings."
Always in my refrigerator: "Probably diet Pepsi, protein bars, snack
protein bars, juice, milk, and crackers."
Hottest Possession: "My Ipod, I love it; that or my Tiffany
bracelet."
I'd
change places for 24 hours with ... "Jack on 24, that man has
used up all 9 of his lives and his heart is still pumping blood!!! Every
season is never dull and he is such a thought processor, it's a amazing what
he can do."
I'd
most like to hang out with ... "my friends, Shia Labeouf, David
Beckham, Robert Redford, my foxtrot men that I am a sweetheart for, Kiefer
Sutherland, pretty much anyone."
Celeb
I'd love to go on a date with: "Shia Labeouf, he is a great
actor, he's got a lot of potential talent."
Me, a deserted island and ... "the chance to finally get a tan! hahaha.
I'm almost always working or inside or running around so I don't get the
chance too often to lay out and get a tan."
Why
I'm a great catch: "I am a little bit of everything and I'm
always going to be there for you. I keep things low maintenance, I don't
mind if guys hang out with their friends.
I'm a loving, faithful, beautiful, and sweet."
Me in a word: "Beautiful."
