... on HIMSELF
Best qualities: "My `never say no' attitude toward everything in life. I can be quiet until you get to know me. I'm honest. I don't want to lead anyone on with fantasies or fake dreams. If I think the relationship is going to last, I'll let you know. If I don't, I'll let you know that too."
Strengths: "My ability to conform to every situation that I am confronted with; my do or die attitude."
Weaknesses: "Beautiful women, shopping, chocolate cookies. I can be spoiled at times. Sometimes, if I don't get my way, I can get upset."
Others may not see: "A lot of people think I am arrogant and unapproachable. I'm really not, I'm very down-to-earth, very approachable. Also, a lot of women think, because I'm a personal trainer, if we're out and I'm eating healthy, that they shouldn't eat a piece of cake in front of me. I don't mind if they have dessert, I can still stick to my diet. The funny side of me, because when everybody sees me, people always think I'm so serious all the time and that's one of the main reasons they don't approach me. I'm just focused on what I'm trying to do at the time."
I've been known to ... "totally go against the norm and buck the system."
Interests: "Internet, beautiful women, nutrition, biking, cycling, starting my own personal training company, working out, traveling overseas, movies, walks around the lake, just being comfortable. On a Sunday afternoon, with a female counterpart, just lounging in jeans, T-shirt and a pair of flip flops."
Turn Ons: "A woman's smell, smile and her eyes. Shy women who really want to speak to me but instead send their girlfriend over to hint to me that `hey my friend is interested in you, she wants to get your name and number, that's a turn on. A woman who is a go getter like myself, somebody who works just as hard as she plays hard. Work hard, play hard, that's my motto. The ability to be comfortable with your success and not let what others want you to do dictate you. Do what you like doing regardless of what everybody else says. If you like doing it, that's all that matters."
Turn Offs: "A lot of mouth and attitude. Not communicating with me, letting stuff build up inside until the last minute, that's a big turn off. If something is bothering you, just come to me and let me know. You can talk to me. People who don't know their potential, who are harping about what they want in life but don't want to do anything about it to achieve that. That's a turn off for me."
Special Talents: "Communicating with people. The ability to conform to any situation. I played the drums in high school. I speak Spanish."
Charities: "With my fraternity, The Fraternal Order of Masons, we throw cookouts, barbecues, car washes, bake sales for the homeless."
15 minutes of fame: "I modeled for the VH1 fashion awards in 2003. I did a Smirnoff Ice commercial in Charlotte, NC."
Travels: "I've traveled to DC, Miami, Chicago, Atlanta."
Spirituality: "I'm not really religious but I do believe there is a higher power but I'm not really into church."
Fashion sense: "It's very casual, preppy, cool. I can dress down with a T-shirt, jeans and flip flops or I can throw the slacks on with a button down Tommy Hilfiger pinstripe shirt with cuff links. I can conform to any situation or any setting. If I know it's going to be more laid back, more hip hop, I can throw the Timbs on with the Sean John sweats."
Staying healthy: "An hour of cardio every day whether that's on the treadmill or cycling. Six healthy meals every day, that consists of 3 protein drinks and either tuna fish and broccoli meals or chicken breasts and broccoli meals. I allow myself one day out of the week to have a free day where I just splurge and eat what I want to eat."
What touches my soul: "When I see my mother cry or unhappy."
... on WOMEN
Attention Getters: "Beautiful eyes, a nice smile and her smell. That's a definite attention getter; a woman with a
D & G fragrance."
Ideal woman: "Somebody who is like my Mom, caring, sensitive, motherly, sense of humor, beautiful. A strong woman."
I can't resist a woman who ... "just could care less about anything and everything outside of me. I can't resist a woman who's just happy just being in my presence. You can't complain about that. A woman like that I can't resist."
Most important quality in a woman: "Just to be caring. Women can be very difficult at times but nothing overrides a woman who cares about you and who is willing to go out on a limb for you anytime you need her. A woman who's there for you, who has your back in any situation, any time or place."
Ideal date: "Dinner, movie, a Hennesey's martini at the coffee shop in NYC and an overnight flight to Miami."
I'd call a woman back after a first date ... "if she made me laugh."
I would never date a woman who ... "calls me up and expects me to take her out. That's a turn off. If I'm going to take you out on a date, I want to ask you."
How I show I care: "Being that I'm a very busy man, just giving a woman extra time to be around me and to share part of my life with her, that's how a woman knows I care about her."
What makes a woman unforgettable: "Her smell."
I wish women understood ... "that we want the same thing that they want ... to be loved and adored."
... on RELATIONSHIPS
On marriage: "Life isn't worth living, if you don't have somebody in your life to love and share it with. Nobody wants to be lonely. With all the success and glamorous parties, you want to be able to come home to somebody who is yours. In the future, I see myself being married with kids, a happy household. When I get married, I do believe in staying committed. I don't believe in cheating on your wife. There's too much on the line to risk it for another woman. I do believe you shouldn't do it unless you're really ready. One of the reasons being, I see how my mom and dad are still together and how happy they make each other. As far as kids, I do feel that having your mother and your father there your whole like definitely helps as far as your life outcome, as far as your attitude towards outside issues with relationships. Being that I am very busy and I do travel a lot, to have that stability and support in my life, knowing that I have something to look forward to when I get home."
Top Relationship Keys: "Communication, sense of humor and self confidence. I believe everything is 50/50. The way I treat you is the way I want to be treated. I'm very caring and giving if I think a woman deserves it."
A woman in a relationship with me can expect ... "the world. She can also expect to get a good workout, A woman who's with me, she definitely will have to give me at least 3 days in the gym. If you date me, you're going to be guaranteed to be healthy."
What I expect: "Respect, honesty and someone who will communicate with me."
When I'm in love, I ... "am very nice, calm and carefree."
Greatest Relationship Lesson: "Never say you love somebody if you really don't."
What makes a woman marriage material: "Stability, career driven, somebody like myself who's a go getter but also likes to have fun at the same time. Pretty much the same qualities I see in myself, I'd like to see that in the woman who I want to marry."
... on SEX
What makes sex good: "Good sex is when we're both satisfied."
I feel my sexiest when ... "I come from the gym after working out, when I get out of the shower and I have my towel on, after a long hard week of work and I'm getting ready to go out with my friends and I have a very nice shirt on and I know I'm smelling good, I know I'm looking good."
Most sensual part of a woman's body: "The little fine hairs on her bellybutton that go down to the
panty line."
Sexiest thing a woman can wear in private: "Little lace panties from Victoria's Secret. They're called Butterflies. I like red."
Surefire way to seduce me: "Champagne, candles, throwing some rose petals on the floor and the fact that she's showing the effort. A lot of women don't like putting in the effort. Most of the time a guy's going to initiate something like that. I would feel flattered if a female invited me over and she had candlelight and champagne, soft music in the background and she had some petals all over the floor or in the bed. That would be very impressive. I've had rose petals in the bathtub."
... on LIFE
Making My Mark: "To become the #1 Fitness and fashion model in the world. And a to get me a multimillion dollar contract with Polo. Just the fact that I've come from a small town that's not even on the map and to have the success that I've had thus far, that will be a mark, it doesn't matter where you're from, it's just where you end up at."
Valuable Life Lesson: "You're never guaranteed anything in life. Never lose sight of your goals. Always keep your goals in sight and never steer away from them because if you do, it can cause complications."
What I try to get out of life every day: "To push my body and mind to the limit."
I must ... "be rich, build my Mom a house, have a family. Just to make my mom happy, get her to a point where she's doing what she wants to do and if she feels that she doesn't want to do it, I'm there to support her."
Best advice I've received: "There is no limit or peak you can't reach in life."
Best advice I've given a woman: "Don't pressure a man. If he's not giving you the things you want to hear, give him some more time."
... on HIS FAVORITE THINGS
Movie: "The Matrix."
TV Show: "X-Men."
Music: "R & B, rap, soul, poetry. That's something new that I've been turned on to, going to poetry readings."
Food: "Chocolate chip cookies and milk on my cheat day."
Season: "Winter/Fall."
... final THOUGHTS
Wheels: "BMW 740i."
Pets: "My fish named Oscar."
Always in my refrigerator: "Tuna, chicken breast, distilled water, olive oil, broccoli."
Hottest possession: "My body, pushing it to be the leanest it's ever been."
Secret Fantasy: "I see myself in the future owning my own fitness center and being one of the top 10 personal trainers in
the world."
Me, a deserted island and ... "five different women from the islands, plenty of tuna and broccoli."
A character in a film who best describes me: "Vin Diesel, in all of his movies."
Celeb I'd love to take out: "Tracy Ellis Roth from Girlfriends. She seems very cool and laid back. She has a certain style about her that I like in women. She can dress up with a business suit but she can also dress down with the khakis and T-shirt."
What makes me a great catch: "The fact that I am educated, fitness minded, career driven, oh, and I forgot this one ... my all-American looks. And my sexy abs. I'm loyal. I'm easy to talk to. A lot of guys don't really sit down and talk with females, they're more interested in having sex with them and not getting to know the woman. I think that's the difference between me and a lot of other guys. I can sit down and talk with a woman and have a decent conversation with her and get to know her instead of trying to take her out, have sex with her and then dump her."
Me in a word: "No limit."
