Status: Never married, no children

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Humanities

... on HERSELF
Strengths: "Unconditional, trustworthy, kind,
compassionate, sensitive."
Weaknesses: "Sensitive, finding good people to
trust and provide stability and security, people who stick
by you through thick and thin."
Others may not see: "My obsession with the
simplicity of life and appreciating it. I very much have a
childlike outlook on life and spirit and love nothing more
than the simplest things most people take for granted. I
simply want to be loved, taken care of, and made to
laugh."
I've been known to ... "have a bit of a
martyr attraction to the wrong people whom I always want to
help but end up not sticking around in the end."
Interests: "Anything creative, I adore film,
movies, great classics, music, drawing, MUSIC, ANIMALS,
animals to me are the definition of unconditional love and
simplicity, they inspire me daily ... I love laughing
as well and experiencing new things and places,
travel!"
Turn ons: "Strength, compassion, stick-to-it'ness,
positive people, people who bring the best out in me that I
never knew was there before, inner beauty matching the
exterior."
Turn offs: "Selfishness, negative people, people
with too many friends or overly big social circle, I'm a
very private person so I only need really one or two close
people in my life to make me happy, I like knowing someone
is devoted to me."
Special Talents: "Art, drawing, web design,
joke-teller, history buff."
Awards: "Humanitarian of the Year given by Walt
Disney's family. This was maybe one of the most humbling
moments in my entire life. All of my years volunteering
for animal shelters, writing about lesser known charities on
my little personal website, and bringing attention to causes
I felt important was recognized humbly by the Disney family
with an award in early 2002. I had recently completed
work doing some modeling for their newly refurbished
"Haunted Mansion" ride which was a real treat, so
I was so proud to accept ... being the big kid I am, and
loving rides and theme parks, to get something from Disney
for doing something I simply felt I had a need to do was
nothing short of magical."
Charities: "Too many to list but a lot, it's
been my road of choice in life especially after being in
9/11 and surviving breast cancer at 19. On 9/11, I was
scheduled to meet a friend who worked at a Health Care
company on the 81st floor. I got to about the 79th when
the first plane hit and was luckily evacuated safely. I was
burned on over 70% of my body, but again all healed and I am
alive - I am grateful. Having breast cancer at such a
young age was tough but for me it wasn't much at all. I
had grown up with the image of strength in time of great
challenge from various people I'd study over the years and
came out of it using my story to inspire others through my
website, writing, photographs, and art."
15 minutes of fame: "My website, any media related
to that and my art works, had exhibition in New York sold
out, attended by Jerry Seinfeld, Rosie O'Donnell, Bette
Midler. My exhibition was mainly a
photographic/gallery style exhibition at New York's club
Lotus where I also partnered with some of the worlds largest
animal charities. All money from entrance fees were then
donated to them as a result. A beautiful night. The
night also featured an in-depth sit down interview I did
with my friend from Canada at NYU's screening room."
Travels: "Germany, all America, I dream of Egypt,
South Africa."
Spirituality: "I am open to anything that is
positive and inspires me to have hope and not give up."
Fashion sense: "Classic, simple."
Staying healthy: "I love to dance, exercise, eat
healthy."
What touches my soul: "People who inspire others
with truth, art, and giving of themselves to others. Animals."
... on MEN
Attention-getters: "Be incredibly romantic,
old-fashioned, and make me feel like yes, even with a few
times broken heart, it still can heal and grow and beat even
stronger than before ..."
Ideal man: "If he's out there and feeling
something special from reading this right now, it just may
be him ..."
I can't resist a man who ... "is there for me at a
moment I am afraid, uncertain, or worried and I feel nothing
in the world can hold me back."
Most important quality in a man: "Heart. Their sense of
understanding and devotion to me."
Ideal date: "Beautiful restaurant, could be fun
atmosphere, yummy food."
I'd want to see a man again after a first date ... "if
he makes me want more, wonder more, maybe shared a
connection with me on a topic I never connected with someone
else before - something weird, strange or unique ... and of
course a romantic ..."
I would never date a man who ... "doesn't give it all
he's got whenever he can."
How I show I care: "I constantly am affectionate, I
snuggle, and I remember the tiny things in life."
What makes a man unforgettable: "Him remembering my
flaws and my tiny imperfections and transforms them to be
endearing memories we can share."
I wish men understood ... "we want you to talk to us,
even when it's hard to put the beats in your chest into
words, hug us ... snuggle, it makes us feel better
too."
One thing a man has never done for me yet, but I would love
it: "Made me go from feeling completely hopeless
and having no way out to opening up a brand new door - one
even I didn't think could exist ..."
... on RELATIONSHIPS
On relationship/marriage: "I am open to all."
Top relationship keys: "Snuggies, Communication,
Trust, Loyalty, Balance."
A man in a relationship with me can expect ... "never having
anything else to look for."
What I expect: "The same that I expect of
myself."
When I'm in love, I ... "am at peace with the
world."
What makes me feel close to a man: "Affection each
night, warm snuggles, knowing there's nothing he'd be afraid
to talk to me about and confide in."
Greatest relationship lesson: "It can't be 90/10,
it must always be 50/50."
What makes a man marriage material: "If he loves
me enough to do whatever it takes."
... on SEX
"if it feels good we're fine, if we want to explore and
get better we'll put a do not disturb on our door and fall
away."
What makes sex good: "Intimacy, passion."
I feel my sexiest when ... "I'm
dancing."
Most sensual part of a man's body: "His neck."
Sexiest thing a man can wear in private: "Button down
white shirt, black pants."
Surefire way to seduce me: "Flowers, messages on
my phone, text when I feel all is quiet on our ends, in our
worlds, sending me something out of the blue, `I'm thinking
of you' ... thoughtful gestures like that ... melts my
heart."
... on LIFE
Making my mark: "Any way possible."
Responsibility to society: "Helping the animals
the best way I can in all my power ... making myself and
those I love the most loved, cared for, people on this
planet ..."
Valuable life lesson: "Keep moving ... it will
come as long as you never stop."
I must ... "find true love, adopt as many homeless
dogs as possible, write and publish a book."
Best advice received: "Go with your instinct
always."
Best advice I've given a man: "Never give up on
something no matter how hard it gets, if it was easy
everyone would do it."
... on HER FAVORITE THINGS
Movie: "ET, Forrest Gump, Edward Scissorhands."
TV Show: "Six Feet Under (phenomenal grasp of the
human condition, something I've studied for years)."
Book: "Ishmael, Night."
Music: "ALL."
Food: "ALL, I especially love Caprese salad, one
of my all time faves!"
... final THOUGHTS
Pets: "The reason I'm still here. Currently
I do not have any pets but the love of my life, Marley, a
yellow lab, passed away in 2005. I have had other
various pets over the years."
Tattoos/piercings: "I've got 6 and love them
... ultimate mark of self-expression, beautiful art form.
I have two on my ankle (all black and white) Chinese
symbols, one for creativity, the other represents power. I
have a tattoo of an angel on my left upper arm, and on my
lower back I have my dog who passed away, "Marley's"
name written in Old Arabic, the Chinese
symbol for mystery, a horse with wings to represent
fantasy and that's it for now..."
Always in my refrigerator: "Water, water and more
bottled water."
Hottest possession: "My body."
I would change places for 24 hours with ... "the
President so I could see if I really could affect change
with the simple swing of a pen."
I would most like to hang out with ... "the
favorite painter who is no longer living, the amazing Frida
Kahlo. Frida to me was the only painter who truly created
art representing what she felt. She didn't paint was
she knew the world wanted to see, what was popular, or even
more personal to her, what she felt she wanted to see in her
life - she painted her truth. Her truth was quite often
dark, painful, uncertain, and dealing with death... but
with a sense of delight and wicked humor, much like director
Tim Burton. Frida managed to create masterpieces with her
art that reflect a woman's most challenging times in her
life ... how she dealt with them was by painting them out,
sometimes exaggerating a certain emotion or feeling to make
the picture pop out more. She was like no one else in my
mind - she to me, is what great artists are all about...
truth through their medium... she saw out of her third eye
and dared to reveal what everyone else was afraid to."
Celeb I'd love to go on a date with: "Johnny Depp.
Johnny to me has chosen to play some of the most endearing
and touching character that I've yet to see. It doesn't
hurt either that most of my favorite films of all time were
starring Johnny. I think I am attracted to him and his
roles because of their uniqueness and childlike personas.
Each character has their own ailments, their own drawbacks
yet still manages to attack and stay in the viewer's hearts
more so than any other. He's simply a phenomenal actor,
artist, and human being and I'd love to pick his brain for
an evening."
Why I'm a great catch: "I am Jamie Leigh. Simply,
Jamie. Meet me, you'll never be the same again, and I
hope neither will I."
Me in a word: "Love."
