After completing his MBA, Canadian-born Kirby Schlegel combined his love for sports and business with the acquisition of the Texas Tornado of the North American Hockey League in 2003. But why own one sports team when you can own two? So, in 2006, this ambitious entrepreneur, and currently the youngest sports team owner in the country, made his entry into the world of baseball ownership with his acquisition of the Tacoma Rainiers, who currently hold the Pacific Coast League North Division Championship title.
