These Manolo's
Are Made For Walkin'
Walking in fabulous
shoes is a lot like having great sex! If it doesn't feel good,
you're not doing it right!
With the opening of last weekend's much-anticipated movie,
SEX AND THE CITY, women everywhere have grabbed
their best gal pals and headed to the theater to watch
the six stars of the new flick: Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte,
Miranda,, New York City, and ... oh, those shoes (sigh).
However, the truth is, it is estimated that 90% of women
cannot walk in their sexy high heels, be they Manolo's,
Christian Louboutin's or whatever designer suits you, without
stumbling or being in agony at the end of the day.
But just like when Carrie coos that classic
line, "Hello Lover," when she sees
her next pair of shoes, most women can relate ... that
at the moment a woman falls in love with the perfect
pair of shoes, logic doesn't enter into the reasoning.
That's where Eve
Michaels, internationally acclaimed beauty
coach and a real life "Sex
and
THE CITY" woman, comes in ... because although,
we may only be able to splurge on one pair of Jimmy Choo's
in a lifetime, the point is that we "rock those
heels" whenever we put them on.
Here are
Eve's TOP 5 TIPS on how to choose your "SEX
IN THE CITY" shoes and look and feel like the sexy
divas you are:
1.
The ball of a woman's foot must line up with the ball of the
shoe. In other words, the pattern of the shoe must match the
shape of the woman's foot.
2.
Buy pointy toe high heels a half size larger.
3.
When standing in a pair of heels, the weight of the woman
must be on her heels, not thrust onto the balls of her feet.
Otherwise agony, not pleasure from wearing delicious shoes,
will be felt.
4. The
toes shouldn't be cramped into the shoe and it must feel
comfortable from the start. The right shoe should not need
more than three wearings to feel great.
5. Realize
that some high heels are made for walking while others are
made for fine dining, partying or wearing in bed! A true
diva knows the difference.
