             Peter

"Family is the most important thing to me," says 5'10" Peter. "I have a very strong ethnic family that my life is centered around." This 31-year-old commercial film director, who is fluent in English, Greek and ......, enjoys history, travel, golf and music. Growing up with two older sisters gave Peter quite an education on the subject of women. "I learned how women think, what they need from a man, and how never to treat a lady," says this brown-eyed Aquarius, who is looking for someone who is "independent, easygoing, strong-willed and family oriented." His best advice to women: "You are in charge of your own happiness."

... the FACTS

Born: Milwaukee, Wisconsin; grew up in Reno, NV

Resides: Atlanta, GA

Birthdate: 2-15-72

Sign: Aquarius

Height: 5’10”

Hair: Brown

Eyes: Brown

Nationality: Greek

Family: Two older sisters

Status: Never married, no children

Occupation: TV and commercial director.

... on HIMSELF

Best Qualities: "It is far more impressive when others discover your good qualities without your help."

Strengths: "I’m honest. If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything. I’m not afraid of making mistakes; it is how you learn. I get along with everybody."

Weaknesses: "I’m too trusting of people. I keep assuming everyone has the integrity my parents taught me."

What I see in myself that others may not see: "Since I’m laid back people assume things come easily to me. But what they don’t see is that I work my ass off to accomplish everything I do. It is amazing, the harder you work the luckier you get."

Interests: "History, traveling, music."

Turn Ons: "Confidence and poise."

Turn Offs: "Smoking."

Special Talents: "I speak three languages, good dancer, 2 handicap golfer."

Embarrassing moment: "Two years ago I was still modeling. My face was and still is pictured on all the newer Coca-Cola vending machines around the world. Well, I was shooting a commercial for a client, and he recognized me and said, `Oh my God, you're the Coke boy.' He had a vending machine with my face on it in his office. I felt so stupid. He, however, had a great time with it."

What touches my soul: "Seeing an old man and woman Greek dancing. There is a
sort of unexplainable connection."

... on WOMEN

A woman can get my attention ... "when she speaks her mind, not worrying about what she thinks she should say. A woman who doesn’t get walked all over. She does it in a classy way."

Ideal woman: "Independent, easygoing, strong-willed and family oriented. I’m looking for someone who is a take charge sort of person. That if by chance I pass away early in life that my children would be well taken care of and raised by a strict mother. I don’t believe in being friends to your kids while you're raising them, that comes later in their 20s. Love is important and so is discipline. Kids need the feeling of safety and knowing right from wrong. And if they step over that line that there is a consequence. Children need strong role models. I can't believe the lack of respect kids have today for their parents."

Ideal date: "Going to the Greek Island of Santorini, in a cliff-side cabana 500 feet above the water. Locals say the lost city of Atlantis is there.

What makes a woman unforgettable: "Her smile."

I wish women understood ... "men are problem solvers and want to give the ten step solution to solve the problem when a woman comes home and tells about her bad day. The woman just wants someone to listen to her and say, “That’s awful, let’s go out to dinner and put it out of our minds” not to fix the problem. Men mean well, we’re just trying to help."

... on RELATIONSHIPS

Views on relationships: "I have a very strong ethnic family that my life is revolved around. Family is the most important thing to me."

Top Relationship Keys: "You've got to be willing to work at them. I’d hate to compare relationships to a car but if you don’t take care of them they break down and die. But you’ll always have problems. No situations are perfect and you have to know that."

A woman who is in a relationship with me can expect ... "loyalty and support."

What I expect: "To be there for me too when I need support."

Greatest Relationship Lesson: "Generally speaking, you aren't learning much when your mouth is moving. Never miss a good chance to shut up. Women aren’t as complex as men think they are. They usually communicate well and if we’re not listening, a relationship is doomed for trouble."

... on HIS FAVORITE THINGS

Movie: "Arthur, Caddy Shack and Dead Poet’s Society."

TV Show: "Anything on the History or the Learning channels."

Book: “Beast in the Jungle by Henry James."

Food: "There are so many. I like ethnic food like Thai, Greek and Moroccan."

Season: "Summer."

... on LIFE

Making My Mark: "To pass on the traditions of my family to my children."

Responsibility to Society: "To create television and theatrical programming that will move the audience emotionally whether it be by sadness or joy."

Valuable Life Lesson: "A person's life reflects the choices that they made. You can truly tell what is important to people by those choices."

What I try to get out of life every day: "I try to learn something every day from watching a spider spin a web to listening to an elderly person tell a story. You can always use the experience later in life because experience is something you don't get until just after you need it. I like to be prepared."

I must ... "marry the woman of my dreams, have a family, pass on my knowledge and traditions to my kids."

Best advice I've received: "If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it."

Best advice I've given a woman: "That you are in charge of your own happiness. Someone else can just add to it. If you're waiting for a guy to make you happy, it’ll never happen."

... final THOUGHTS

Wheels: " Jeep Grand Cherokee."

Pets: "A large orange tabby cat without a tail named Pilafi. I call him “Rice.” However, he’s more like a dog than a cat."

Items always in my refrigerator: "The metal shelving and plastic drawers. I eat out a lot."

Hottest possession: "A painting my sister made for me. It is of several figures dancing on the ground and one holding on to a star in the sky. `Be the one who rides the star' is painted in the sky. I live by those words."

Secret fantasy: "To hike the Andes to Montupitchu - the ancient city of the Incas in Peru."

Me, a deserted island and ... "a fast reliable boat to get back home."

I would like to change places for 24 hours with ... "my father in my teen years. I’d love to see his perspective on my teen years. He has the greatest saying for a bumper sticker, "Quick, hire teenagers while they still know everything."

What makes me a great catch: "I was a late bloomer and have two older sisters. I was always the cute kid but not the one who got the girl early on. Girls, including my sisters, would cry to me about their relationships. It was a great education. I learned how women think, what they need from a man, and how never to treat a lady."
