... on HIMSELF

Strengths: "Compassionate, adventurous, honest. spontaneous, fun loving, active, optimistic."

Weaknesses: "Overly trusting."

Others may not see: "I'm fairly transparent. Something that is very surprising is that I do love jazz and blues. I dress pretty conservative. I'm from GA, so I'm a real laid back country guy. I think sometimes people generally would look at me and would think that I would be a lot wilder than I am."

I've been known to ... "wander off the beaten path. I love to travel, so when I travel a lot of times, when they tell you not to go to this neighborhood, that's the first place I want to go. Just to see what's not seen. I don't want to go where everyone goes, and be a tourist. I want to see what no one else sees. I want to experience what it's really about. When you go to Spain, I don't want to go to Madrid, I want to go off Seville I want to go deep into the local area."

Interests: "I love to travel and experience cultures. Politics are of interest as well, I think it goes hand and hand. I love sports, I play tennis, racquetball and rock climb at least once a week."

Turn-ons: "Compassion, honesty, bright smile, new experiences, different cultures, danger. I'm really into rock climbing and adventure sports. I like the adrenaline."

Turn-offs: "Negativity, arrogance, smoking. I can't stand prejudice. I don't like people who make fun of others for qualities that they can't change. It's a huge pet peeve. I might not call you out on but it's something that I'll definitely take notice of."

Special Talents: "I was the captain of my swim team and had aspirations at one time of training for the Olympics. I got a scholarship for college but I didn't go at the time, I ended up going into the Marines."

Charities: "I'm actually in the process of starting my own charity. I'm also working with Home Run against Drugs which is a local Las Vegas Charity that a friend of mine started in Mobile, Al. Now that the school year started I'm going to be a traveling mascot. I'm going to go to all the elementary schools and get involved here locally. Obviously, I don't have too much experience with charity but it's something that's actively on my mind and I'm getting involved."

15 minutes of fame: "Final two of Season 4 of Average Joe; national Applebee's commercial."

Travels: "I traveled a lot in the Marines from 99-04. I was stationed out of N. Carolina and I was a C130 flight mechanic so my job was basically the care and maintenance of an aircraft. For 4 years, I traveled all over the world. I was in Afghanistan and Iraq. I didn't spend too much time on the ground but I did go to both countries. I can't say I wish to head back to the Middle East any time soon. I am planning on going to Nepal and Hong Kong early next year."

Spirituality: "Christian. I am spiritual. I'm a 7th Day Adventist and I'm an active church goer. The day of worship is Saturday."

Fashion sense: "I like to throw on a sharp suit from time to time, but more or less I am a blue jeans and T-shirt kind of guy."

Staying healthy: "I try to lead from the front. When training clients I try to work out side by side. It helps motivate them to see me sweating with them and I come home exhausted after keeping up all day. I'm training for a triathlon now. I run at least 3 miles a day, probably 5 days a week. It's a habit that I had when I was in the military and it's just stuck with me. I watch what I eat."

What touches my soul: "Sincerity and warmth. It takes a lot of courage to open up, but when I see pure expression ... I feel it."

... on WOMEN

I first notice ... "Cliche, I know but, honestly, I notice the eyes first. I have always been able to get a good read about a woman from what she says with her eyes."

Attention-getters: "Confidence, sincerity, individuality, a girl who stands for something. Optimism. A girl who stands out. If I walked into a room, there's going to be someone who's boisterous, confident, sincere and just a strong character. I really like strong women who know who they are and know what they believe in. And they just have that charisma."

Ideal woman: "Driven, personable, honest, giving, open minded, trustworthy."

I can't resist a woman who ... "laughs at my jokes."

Most important quality in a woman: "Honesty. The basis of a relationship is communication. And if you're going to communicate and you're going to do it dishonestly, you're setting yourself up for failure. Everything starts with honesty. I can't have communication and really have that true bond if there's no honesty. It doesn't help anybody out to lie. Not to mention, I've always been pretty good at reading somebody who's lying to me. "

Ideal date: "Well, it depends obviously on who you're dating. In an ideal setting, I do like girls who are active, outgoing and have a sense of adventure. I like to do things that are a little different. I want to go hiking, to an amusement park, something outdoors. Possibly rock climbing, skydiving, I like to do those type of things. On a more conservative level, maybe just a walk in the park or a zoo."

I'd call back after a first date ... "if there was chemistry, if we had a great time together, if I was thinking about her the next day."

I would never date a woman who ... "talks trash about their ex."

How I show I care: "It's the little things, attention, obviously spending that extra amount of time, sometimes you change your schedule if you want to see someone. Everyone's busy and attention, that's what it's about ... it's the little things, if the girl you're dating sees a shirt she likes in passing, you go back and pick it up, a random card maybe for not a holiday or any special reason, just leave a card possibly in her car. I'm romantic."

I wish women understood ... "we're simple. Men like to feel needed or wanted. Sometimes a man just needs alone time, he needs guy time. If a relationship's going good, sometimes you need space, and it might be just to bounce off how he's feeling with his buddies."

... on RELATIONSHIPS

On relationships: "A relationship is important to me. You meet so many people and the people who you choose to have relationships with you bond with. They're the people who understand you best and you understand them. It gives you the sense of accomplishment when you really do help someone out and you know you can be there to listen to them and then on the opposite end, you have someone who truly knows who you are and helps you through the hard times.

Top relationship keys: "Communication is huge, spice of life, you have to enjoy things, need to have hobbies, things you can enjoy together. In my opinion, be equally yoked and know where you stand in your relationship with God. Family values are huge. You have to have the same direction, with wanting kids, not wanting kids."

A woman in a relationship with me can expect ... "me to be open, honest and respectful. I am spontaneous, not necessarily always a good thing, but definitely spontaneous and adventurous. She can expect adventure, fun and a loyal and honest guy."

What I expect: "I expect the same, obviously respect, honesty, loyalty."

When I'm in love, I ... "glow. It's contentment, it's a bond, it's a commitment. It means something. It's euphoric."

What makes me feel close to a woman: "The quiet time at the end of the day or the beginning of the day, that quiet time when it's just you and her. Whether it's at night or in the morning, whenever there's no TV, there's no distraction and it's just you two. Whether you're talking or just silent. I'm a very affectionate person and physical contact, whether it's holding hands, a hug, it's just that feeling of lack of distraction, there's nothing else except for you two."

Greatest relationship lesson: "You can't change anyone."

What makes a woman marriage material: "A sense of individuality, a woman who stands for something, who knows who she is and isn't going to run off to her friends and seek their advice. A relationship is between two people and if someone is not a strong enough character to where they are who they are and know who they are then that's a huge factor and the women who are individuals and know who they are and stand for someone, that makes them marriage material."

... on SEX

What makes sex good: "Closeness, comfort, mutual desire to please, commitment, of course."

I feel my sexiest when ... "wearing a nice suit."

Most sensual part of a woman's body: "Her stomach."

Sexiest thing a woman can wear in private: "A pair of black panties and one of my old T-shirts."

Surefire way to seduce me: "Quick wit, sincere smile, physical gestures."

... on LIFE

Making my mark: "By giving back through charities or through whatever form I can."

Responsibility to society: "I have a responsibility to give all of myself as much as I can. I'm very blessed and I've been given great opportunities and it's my responsibility as it is everyone's. With gain, comes responsibility. You have to give what you have and what you receive, you need to give back as much as you have."

Valuable life lesson: "I've learned a lot. I would say, you can't make yourself happy, you have to allow yourself to be happy. Often times we have this facade of what we think happiness is based on what society will say and if you chase after it, often times you pass right by the simplest pleasures of life."

I must ... "experience life in a 3rd world country, whether it's Africa or S. America. I would like to live completely separated from American culture. A lot of my friends are involved in missions and live in 3rd world countries and give back. I want to climb in the Himalayas, and then I want to have a family. I have to give back."

Best advice received: "Be true to yourself."

... on HIS FAVORITE THINGS

Movie: "Legends of the Fall."

TV Show: "Entourage."

Book: "The Count of Monte Cristo."

Music: "Country, Jazz."

Food: "Italian, Mexican."

... final THOUGHTS

Wheels: "Champagne Cadillac STS."

Pets: "I have a tabby cat, Madison."

Always in my refrigerator: "Propel fitness water, Dannon vanilla or cherry yogurt, cheesecake."

Hottest possession: "My Armani suit."

I would change places for 24 hours with ... "Lance Armstrong ... I would love to take a nice 15 mile journey straight up a side of a mountain ... but unfortunately I'm no where near in shape to do it. On a physical level it takes so much discipline and so much individual drive to reach your goals and overcoming cancer and having to fight through that and then on top of it coming through all these allegations of steroid use ... he's taken it all in stride ... he's just got a lot of self control and a lot of discipline and I really admire and respect him for it."

I would most like to hang out with ... "Jack Nicholson. I admire him as an actor. He's so eccentric and so unique and an incredible actor. I just think he would just be a blast to hang out with. I think it'd be awesome."

Celeb I'd love to take on a date: "Cameron Diaz. From the persona that I've seen about her, she seems adventurous and fun loving and she's obviously beautiful. She's always cheerful."

Why I'm such a great catch: "Well. I did grow up with 4 sisters. I think I know women fairly well. I am honest and I am loyal."

Me in a word: "Joyful."
