Spiritual and/or religious views: "I was raised Lutheran, and although I don't attend church every
Sunday, I do go when I can."
My fashion sense: "Well, ironically, being a cowgirl, I thought being "in fashion" meant having a nice pair of starched Wranglers on hand. But now that I have my own clothing line, I can see that's NOT the case. --Does Hot Pink go with Black? --(I hope so)."
How I stay healthy and in shape: "I ride my stud horse "Mr. Red", stairmaster, swim laps, and hike."
What touches my soul: "Horses and the Mountains!!!"
... on MEN
Views on relationships/marriage: "Marriage is VERY important to me, but I want to marry my best friend, and have his children. Without a solid friendship, I don't think you have grounds for a great
marriage ... so time is of the essence in any relationship."
A man can get my attention ... "usually by playing "hard to get." Unfortunately--I LOVE a challenge!!"
Ideal man: "My ideal man would have to be a country guy, who was raised on the ranch, had that "old-fashioned" way about him, but who also enjoyed the finer things in life. Oh, did I mention that I am totally attracted to "country guys?""
Keys to a great relationship: "I think the biggest "key" to a great relationship is being your
mate's best friend. Best friends know everything about each other: what makes the other person laugh, cry, happy, etc. I have always been one to take relationships slow, and feel that by spending time getting to know someone in the beginning really builds a stronger relationship in the end."
What makes a man unforgettable: "His kind gestures. Whether it be helping an old lady across the street, playing with a small child, or just being affectionate by caressing my face when we kiss... THAT makes someone "unforgettable" to me!"
A man who is in a relationship with me can expect: "the world. I am a real spontaneous, romantic person and if given the chance, I love to surprise my boyfriends (be it with strawberries and a bubble bath, a nice candlelight dinner next to the pool, or a detour to enjoy a picnic in the mountains on a weekend getaway)."
What I expect: "All I really expect is for someone to be open, honest and to respect my feelings."
When I'm in love, I ... "shine!!! Love is the greatest gift someone can give, and if we could all receive the greatest gift of all, we would all be happy."
The greatest lesson I've learned from a relationship:
"Without trust and communication--you have NOTHING!!"
Ideal date: "A nice horseback ride up in the mountains, enjoying a picnic and a bottle of champagne, followed by a nice dip in a river or lake. After that we would find somewhere romantic to watch the sunset--and look at the stars."
I can't resist a man who ... "looks good in Wranglers, knows how to ride a horse, and who has a nice southern
drawl ... did I mention the drawl?"
How I show a man I care about him: "I like to show a man that I care about him by sending him cards, leaving little notes for him, making him dinner---AND dessert."
One thing a man has done for me that has made me melt:
"While attending college, I met a guy who later asked me over to his house for dinner, and asked me what I liked to eat. "Steak and Lobster of course!! I
obnoxiously answered. He was a bit taken, and said "Well, I will see what I can do about that." When I arrived at his house up in the mountains, he totally surprised me with
Steak AND Lobster-freshly steamed. We ate dinner and had a bottle of wine. Then he said "Wanna go for a moonlight ride up in the mountains?" We jumped on his quad and went up to this clearing. It was beautiful, the moon and stars were out. He started calling for elk. It was the most romantic setting I had ever been in. We spent the rest of the night driving around the mountainside on his
quad ... and kissing of course."
One quality in a man that is more important than anything else:
"Being Affectionate."
What puts me in the mood: "A nice romantic setting...on the beach at sunset, up in the mountains, next to the fireplace or a candlelight dinner."
I feel my sexiest when ...: "I am in a tank top, pair of jeans, and horseback up in the mountains."
Why I'm such a great catch: "I am educated, have never been married, and I have been told that I am a lot of FUN!!"
What I wish men understood more about women: "We are the "more affectionate" gender, and just letting us know that you are thinking of us from time to time is a good thing!!!"

on ... LIFE
How I plan to make my mark on the world: "I have always believed in "you get what you put into it" philosophy, which has made me a firm believer in giving back to society. I have been involved with several charity fundraisers, have put them on, and also put together an exceptional rodeo for handicapped kids. I plan to make my mark on this earth by helping those who may not be as fortunate as myself in that something good has to come out of it."
Responsibility to Society: "I have been blessed with a lot in life, and therefore try to give back to society as much as I can. Currently, I am involved with several charity organizations that raise money for charities."
One lesson that life has taught me: "Don't EVER turn down a good
opportunity."
What I try to get out of life every day: "I try to learn something new each and every day--be it in the business world, something new about horses, or how to do a home project."
Three things I must do in this lifetime: "I have always had a fascination about traveling to every continent (I have
Antartica and Africa left), I have always wanted to ride a bull, and go to the South Pacific Islands and rent a bungalow for a week!!"
Best advice I've received: "Enjoy yourself to the fullest each and every day--because you don't know when it could be your last."
Best advice I've ever given a man: "If I ever catch you cheating or lying to me--it's OVER!!!"
I would like to change places for 24 hours with: "Christie Brinkley--She's beautiful AND she rides horses!!"
The person I would most like to hang out with: "John Schneider--and go horseback riding on his ranch!! (Like my mom got to)."
Nicknames I've been called: "Shan-NUN, the Hollywood Cowgirl, the Horse-Whisperer."
Tattoos/piercings: "NONE, thanks!!!"
Wheels: "My Dodge Truck, Chevy Tahoe, Chevy Lumina, Horse Trailer, Quad, and my 7 Yr old Stud horse "Mr. Red."
Pets: "My forever loyal dog "Cheyenne" and my stud horse "Mr. Red!!"
Items always in my refrigerator: "Beer & Milk!!"
Hottest possession: "My new Tahoe--just 'cause it has a DVD player."
A character in a novel or film who best describes me: "Mary in "Something About Mary!"
Me, a deserted island and ... "nothing but a bottle of suntan oil!!--"Wanna join me?"
Secret fantasy: "I have always been fascinated with waterfalls. I would love to go for a horseback ride up in the mountains and find a waterfall to get wet in--with someone special, of course."
One word that best describes me: "Very Caring!!! (Is that one word?)."
What I'm looking for by being profiled: "I am looking to pursue my clothing line--along with maybe finding someone who I have a lot in common with. Although I was raised in the country with very "old-fashioned" values and morals, I have traveled the world and am a very diverse person. One day I want to jump on the airplane and travel the countryside, and the next I am totally content with just sitting on the porch and watching the sunset. Anyone
interested in joining me?"
Final Thoughts: "I think that if you really want to do something, all you need to do is put your mind to it. I have always wanted to make over $100,000 a year, and I finally found a way to do it."
